Denver / New Mexico

Here are some more pics from the past few days:

The first one is of Matt & Cass Davidson, the couple who took us in in Denver. They were so good to us! The second is a picture of their 15 year old black lab, Patterson, she was sooo sweet and never left my side the whole time! They also had another younger lab, and 5 cats! The other pics are just random. The one I thought was interesting was the last venue we played at, The New Mexico National Guard. They told me it used to be a place where they stored weapons for the armory! Craziness what must have went down in that place. We saw a spider that must have been the size of my hand dead on a sidewalk...yeah i definately squeeled like a lil girl and ran away!!

In Denver!

Here are a few more pics I took from yet another full day on the road. It's still so hard to get quality pics when you're on the move. The mountains, as you know well from Virginia, are so beautiful!! I hope to get closer in the next few days! The one is a shout out to my dad for the town named after him;) Made me laugh.

"The Red Barn" - Williston, North Dakota

Here are two pics of the place we plaeyed at last night, "The Red Barn".

It was literally a barn built in the 1800's used for country dances said the owner which made it kinda cool in a sense. But once we got our stuff set up and the sound kicking it was not bad at all

Manitoba - August 16th

Hi!

Here are some more pics I took on our 'lil visit in Steinbach, Manitoba.

We played at a rodeo "Agricultural festival" so it was a bunch of cowboys walking around but it was cool to see horse barrell racing and we had a good time.

I wish I coulda took some pics of the place we stayed cause it was my dream home!!

Anyways, i'm gonna try to send pics daily or as much as possible.

Through Chicago & Wisconsin

Here are a few pics from the road today!

Nothing special at all but...hah...the first one is Chicago from the vans view and the second is of this wierd mouse statue that was at a gas station next to a huge cheese factory.

I promise I'll take alot more, but these first few days have been pure driving and so it was hard to take any good pics.

A month to long*

So, today Dave left for his tour with Manic Drive. Very exciting!!!!
If you have never heard of Manic Drive, they are a very talented Christian rock band. Check their site out: http://www.myspace.com/manicdrive

Dave got a call from them no more then a week ago, asking him to join their team for the month and possibly in the future, so with lot’s of prayer and faith, he decided to go for it. This is something he has been waiting for for a very long time so we will see how it goes this month. God blesses in unbelievable ways if we just stay patient and wait for his voice.

On the other hand, I honestly have no idea how I am going to last a whole month without Dave. The whole year and 1/2 we've been together we have been away for a week at the very most...haha. Pathetic yes, in love…YES! So, this is going to be a very looooong, tear-filled month.
